Pathway on (Lark Pool)

Meadow View fishery is situated in the pictureque Cheshire country side.  This very popular commercial fishery has three Pools with space for 113 anglers. The main lake is Lark Pool with some 61 pegs in total - linnet has 25 pegs and Thrush 27 pegs. The water is kept well oxygenated by a pumping system thus keeping the fish in top condition.

Access to Toilets & Cafeteria

Platforms

All 113 pegs at Meadow View are of timber construction & 1 mtr square. These are level and all have a bump stop at the front.   

Car Park

There are several car parking areas at Meadow view none being designated as disabled only.   All constructed from densely packed stone -  they are level with the odd loose stone .

Access

Access to all pegs on Linnet & Lark Pools is via a gentle slope. The surfaces are constructed from rolled stone, having some loose material.  Thrush pool is the furthest away from the major car park; and is not as accessible as the other two pools.

Toilets

There are toilet facilities male & female but neither are designated as disabled friendly .

Danglers Thoughts & Tips

Disabled-angler is delighted to recommend a visit to Meadow View. The fishery is a very well run, well maintained and clean. There is some great sport to be had on all three pools, having a variety of species and sizes; major species being carp.  average depths on all three pools is around 5ft.  Meadow view is a very popular match venue, especially at the week-end so we would recommend you give them a ring prior to your visit to inquire about peg availability.   

Fishery Rules

All nets must be dipped on entry to the fishery.

No keepnets allowed except in matches (which we will provide)

BARBLESS hooks only

All fish to be landed with a net

Bait Bans:

All seed baits,  ground baits, all floating baits, pellets, paste, cat meats and all additives

Maximum 14.5 m  pole to be used in matches

No tins or cans allowed on the banks

(Please use rubbish bins provided)

Please keep of the grass

All cars are to be park  in the car park provided

At the owners risk

Please use the toilets provided and NOT on the banks or surrounds of the fishery

NO DOGS ALLOWED

All children under the age of 16 must AT ALL TIMES be accompanied by an adult.

THE RULES WILL BE ENFORCED. BREAKING THE RULES WILL RESULT IN A BAN FROM THE FISHERY
