Lemington lakes is steeped in history having had a lake on the site for several centuries. It was initially used by the monks for rearing carp for food. The fishery is one of the most picturesque and accessible venues you could wish to visit. Being tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds country side, it offers a range of fishing opportunities, catering for specimen anglers, match men or those of you who prefer to catch silver fish on the newly constructed Abbey Lake.
Lemington Lakes complex offers 5 lakes in total, all of which are in the process of having new accessible platforms built. This vastly improved fishery has been transformed by the new owners Andy & Debbie Machin. They are two of the most friendly people you could wish to meet, and go out of their way to accommodate the disabled angler. Above you can see the huge facilities at Lemington Lakes, offering early morning breakfasts and then refreshments all day during opening hours. They also have a unique facility in the form of the anglers rest room where you can relax, watch fishing videos and read magazines whilst enjoying a snack or drink. You can also purchase bait and tackle on-site. Lemington Lakes also has facilities for touring caravans, having shower and toilet facilities, so if it's that fishing holiday your after, Lemington can cater for all your needs.
