Charities Championship 2007
Holmes farm Fishery July 21st

Holmes Farm Fishery played host to the 6th Charity match for the Disabled Angler.co.uk Charities Championship.

The Draw for this match was conveniently situated at a local hostelry where many sat down to try out one of their legendry breakfasts and again what nice people. So it was only right we should go back there to do the payout :)

I can't believe competitors were actually able to park behind their pegs after all the rain we had.  The bad weather unfortunately played toll on the numbers for this match as two that were booked on couldn't attend because they had been stuck in the floods on the M5 all night and had to be rescued by the police..

All that cold water going into the lake put the fish off feeding in any great numbers and the results show a poor return from what is usually a cracking venue

Bucko Posing for his Picture but as you can see no action shot:)

Section Winners

It may have been a hard days fishing but it didn't put the lads of their liquid refreshments :)

Thank-you

To our sponsor BR-Electrical.co.uk thank-you again for enabling us to stage these Charity events, thanks Steve.
