Charities Cheque Presentation
November 25th 2006
Saturday 25th November 2006 saw 2 cheques totalling £2,200 which was the fruits of this years hard work by the Dangler-Team presented to our chosen charities Francis House Children's Hospice & Macmillan Cancer support.

Bucko had organised the presentation to take place at Holy Farm and invited representatives from Francis House (Pam Daly) & Macmillan cancer support (Amanda Drage)
John thanked our sponsor BR-Electrical for his continued support for with out which, it wouldn't be possible to guarantee that all monies collected over the year would go to the charities.
John thanked the Dangler-Team situated far and wide for all their hard work throughout the year and to everyone for their continued support, stating that if it wasn't for them this magnificent achievement would never have happened.
It was cheque presentation time and first to receive their cheque for £1,100 was Pam Daly fund raising manager for Francis House Children's Hospice, Pam thanked everyone and said that Our kind donation would buy a special bed for the children.

Next to receive their cheque was Amanda Drage fund raising manager for the Northants branch of the Macmillan Nurses, and it was fitting that our very own Sharon a cancer sufferer herself who had bravely fought off this disease, was asked to present the cheque to Amanda. Amanda thanked everyone and stated that the money would go towards helping secure more much needed Macmillan Nurses.

Thanks to the Dangler Fund Raisers

The above photo shows the Midlands fund raising gang who ran matches at Castle Ashby - Lemington Lakes - Misterton Hall - Holy farm but the team was bigger this year and a big thank-you also goes to the Northern fund raisers who ran the first match of the series this year, held at Lindholme Lakes and run by Andrew Archer & Ian Cloke. This big hearted duo raised £332 a fantastic start to the series

Then travelling some 300 miles away down South it was the turn of the Monk Lakes fund raising due, a big thank-you goes to Vince Gould & Peter Morton where a further £221.50 was added to the fundraising pot, Brilliant! They are friends really.

Then it was back up the country to Oxfordshire and world record venue Rolfs lake, this match was run by a kind hearted young man Matt Nutt who boosted the fund with a massive £575.50

What a fantastic result by some incredible guys and gals you must agree. Thank-you to Wayne Lambert & wife Sharon &
their two children for their unquestioning support.
And finally to the husband and wife team John & Lynn (Bucko's) at the center of all the fundraising, many thanks for all your hard work.

Bucko has already booked venues for next year Vince & Peter have booked Monks Lake, Matt has promised another supportive match and our Sponsor BR-Electrical has confirmed his continued support for the third year running.
So it looks like we'll be doing it all again in 2007
